Booking Policies
Designed to honor every guest's time, care, and transformation.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- ·All appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 72 hours in advance.
- ·Cancellations made within 72 hours of the appointment will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- ·IF Noir Lux must cancel an appointment for any reason, the client's deposit will be fully refunded.
No Show & Late Arrivals
- ·NO SHOW: Clients who fail to show up for their appointment without notice will be charged 50% of the service price and may be restricted from future bookings.
- ·LATE: A $25 late fee will be applied after a 15-minute grace period.
- ·Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late may be required to reschedule and will forfeit their deposit.
- ·If Noir Lux is running behind, a 5% courtesy discount will be applied to the service total.
Consultations
- ·Consultations are mandatory for platinum pixie services, color services, and corrective work.
- ·Appointments booked without a required consultation will be canceled.
- ·A $10 booking fee will be applied for appointments booked by Virtual Assistant.
Health & Scalp
- ·Clients must disclose any scalp conditions, including but not limited to severe dermatitis, eczema, inflammation, scarring alopecia, or CCCA, as well as allergies, medications, or recent chemical services prior to their appointment.
- ·If the scalp appears inflamed, compromised, or shows signs of scarring alopecia or CCCA, clients will be referred to a dermatologist prior to receiving any chemical or abrasive services.
- ·Noir Lux recommends Dr. Elena Jones, Dermatologist, near 86th Street and Park Avenue in New York City, for scalp and hair loss concerns.
- ·Noir Lux is not responsible for reactions or outcomes related to undisclosed conditions.
Service Details
- ·Service times are estimates and may vary based on hair density, length, condition, and prior color or chemical history.
- ·If you would like services brought to you, an additional $250 will be charged to your appointment.
Deposits & Payment
- ·A non refundable deposit of $35 is required to secure your appointment. This deposit will be applied toward the final cost of your service.
- ·All remaining balances must be paid via Zelle/Apple Pay only to 347-366-5989.
- ·No cash payments accepted.
- ·All sales are final. No refunds.
Studio Etiquette
- ·To maintain a calm and focused environment, please come to your appointment alone. No additional guests or children are allowed.
